 Every March since 1977 thousands of people converge on the beautiful, tiny seaside South West Victorian town of Port Fairy for the Port Fairy Folk Festival. Over the years the festival has grown in popularity and numbers have swelled. Having grown up in this area, and seen the festival evolve from it's humble days, it is always a treat to return home, see familiar faces and play music as one of the performers. Such is it's reputation performers come from around the world come to play at Port Fairy.
This year was really special for me to pre launch the new CD 'Once in a While' at the Festival with my great musical friends, 'The Band of Brothers' featuring Lee Morgan, James Rust, Declan O'Neill and Jon Emry and special guests Marcia Howard, Richard Tankard, Kathy Mikklesen and Anthony O'Neill. I've been there in 2012. And I have to say that Port Fairy Folk Festival is the coolest event ever! It worth to be seen! Wow! This port fairy folk festival was really cool. I am 100% at your back for this road safety forum you are having. It's a great way of instilling to the people the value of safety when on the road and thus, preventing any accidents from happening.
