We're away with our first performance at the Opening Concert of the 2013 Tamworth Country Music Festival. A great crowd , even with the temperature hovering around 41 degrees! We have a few shows around town and it culminates with The Howard Family Show featuring Shane, Marcia and myself with a band featuring Lee Morgan on Guitar, James Rust on Bass and Declan O'Neill on Drums/ Percussion plus a raft of very special guests who will be dropping in to have a sing and play on Wednesday 23rd January at The Family Hotel from 7pm. Here's some great shots taken by David Harris - a good friend and supporter. We had the most beautiful NYE gig on Fiddler's Green in the south west Victorian town of Port Fairy. Thanks to Marcia Howard on vocals and keys, James Rust on Bass, Declan O'Neill on Drums/ Percussion, Lee Morgan on Guitar and Jon Emry on Drums/ Percussion. Their musicianship and support made the night really special for me. Thanks to Chris Young, Patrick Burke, Scotty Neilsen and Daz Nankerville on an amazing job on sound and lighting and making the whole thing look and sound fantastic! Thanks to Reg and all the Moyneyanna Committee for having us back. A magic NYE! Happy New Year to all! I had a great time a few week's ago performing as a special guest on Ian McNamara's 'Australia All Over' tour at Performing Arts Centres in Ballarat, Benalla and Albury. In Ballarat I played my 'Gold' songs, Bushranger songs for Benalla and a shearing theme in Albury! Ian and his band were not only great musicians but are great people and supporters of original Australian independent music. Video of Intro in Albury
What a great day at the Melbourne Immigration Museum on Sunday 18th November. The organisers were absolutely blown away by the record attendance - over 2 500 people attended throughout the day as part of The Irish Festival celebrations. Here's a link to us performing one of our own songs 'Tell Me Another One' on the day. Video Photos

We got some great shots. Thanks to the Circus Olympia staff, Scott and Trent...legends. The film clip was shot by a young film and TV student, Zac Harris. The film clip should be out soon! |
